The PD1 is a classicly styled table lamp that was first designed in 1955. Originally designed for industrial space that was being converted into flats, Barba Corsini used industrial design elements such as large chimneys as inspiration for this lamp. The lamp went out of production but then in 1994, adjustments were made and Gubi have now reproduced the PD1 to resounding success.

Made from Steel, the lamp is hard wearing and resilient, perfect for any modern and contemporary interior. Available in a choice of 3 colours, the lamp looks both classic and futuristic. Featuring small holes in the steel, this gives it further detailing adding another design aspect.

Suitable for almost any room in the house, the lamp would fit in any bedroom, living room or hall setting. This design has received international status and is recognised all over the world.
