Founded by Trine Anderson in 2005 her inspiration came from when she went to see a clairvoyant and she said to her she could picture a bird on a branch that does not know which way to fly. Trine came out of the meeting motivated and inspired to follow her dreams and start her own business a graphic design company.

Trine decided to redecorate her home but was astonished at all the prices of the wallpaper she liked. With her experience of graphic design she decided to create her own designs and release her own range of wallpaper at an affordable price. She also created some striking Ferm Living wall stickers and they were responsible for bringing them to the forefront of interior fashions, since then there have been many imitations but these are regarded as the original and best.

The image of the bird on the branch is the company’s logo now featured in many of Ferm;s products. The company has grown quick since its first product release in 2006 with the range of cushions and Fem Living kids accessories ever expanding.

The brand is a firm favorite amongst Design 55 staff they are proud to be a Ferm Living UK stockist.
